Save one bus route, not the whole stop New

• At a busy stop like Port Authority, tapping a route number and then the ☆ now saves just that route at that stop — so it reopens already filtered instead of showing every route in the building. This was always possible; it was just impossible to find. A one-time hint on the board now points it out.
• Hints like that appear once, and never again once you've used the feature they describe.
• New Settings screen (in the footer of the home screen) where you can turn hints off, bring them all back, or forget the email saved on this device.

Bookmark the board you check every day New

• Every screen worth returning to now has its own web address. Open your station's departure board, your bus stop, or a route you ride, and bookmark it — next time it opens straight to that screen instead of the home screen.
• Your browser's Back and Forward buttons now move through the app the way you'd expect, and a refresh keeps your place instead of sending you home.
• Handy for sharing, too: send someone the link to a stop and it opens right there for them.
• A note if you added RailDash to your Home Screen: that icon always opens the home screen — bookmarks are the way to jump straight to a particular board.

Buses just went live New

• When we added buses, live info was the piece still to come — here it is. The Bus board now shows live delays: when a bus is running behind, you'll see the updated time and the board flips from Scheduled to Live, so you always know which one you're looking at.
• At big terminals like Port Authority, departures now show the gate the bus leaves from — no more hunting the concourse.
• Tap Buses running now to see every bus out on the road for a route — how late each one is and where it is along the way. Open any bus for its full stop list, with a little bus marker showing where it is right now between stops.
• Detours, cancellations and service alerts for your stop now show right on the board — tap to dismiss, tap the ⚠ to bring them back.

Clearer transfers — and plan them ahead New

• On a trip that needs a change — like Allendale → New York Penn via Secaucus — the first leg now shows when you arrive at the transfer station, not the train's final stop. The time you actually care about is front and center.
• Each first-leg train also shows an estimate of when you'd reach your final destination if you catch the soonest connecting train — so you can size up your options at a glance.
• Planning ahead? Transfer options now show up for Tomorrow and any future date too, not just today.

Name your favorites whatever you like New

• Every favorite now has a little pencil beside it — tap it to rename that favorite to whatever makes sense to you: Home, Work, Mom's stop.
• Your name shows in place of the default. Changed your mind? Clear it and the favorite snaps right back to its original label.

Save just the bus route you take New

• At a busy terminal like Port Authority, a single stop can list dozens of routes. Now you can pin just the route you ride: filter the board to it, tap the ☆, and it lands on your home screen as its own favorite.
• Tapping it opens the board already filtered to that route — your next few buses, none of the other forty. You can still save the whole stop too, so keep both if that's handy.

A heads-up when something's new New

• Now and then RailDash will show a short what's-new note when you open the app — a quick way to hear about new features or service heads-ups.
• Tap Got it and it's gone for good — each note only ever shows once, so it's never in your way.

NJ Transit buses are here New

• RailDash now covers NJ Transit buses, not just trains. Tap the new Bus tab, pick any bus stop in the state, and see every upcoming departure — the route, where it's headed, and when it leaves.
• Find your stop whatever way's easiest: search by name, punch in the stop number printed on the sign, tap Near me, or browse by route. Star a stop to keep it one tap away on your home screen.
• Tap any bus to see its whole route, stop by stop, with the time it reaches each one — so you know exactly when it gets to you.
• For now these are scheduled times (always clearly labeled, so you're never guessing) — live bus tracking and delay alerts are coming next.

Look up any NJ Transit station on the web New

• Every NJ Transit rail station now has its own live departures page you can pull up straight from a Google search — real times, delays and track numbers, with no app and no sign-in to peek.
• Great for sharing: send someone a station or route link and they'll see the next trains, live, before they ever install anything.
• Want the full ride? Tap through from any page to track your train door-to-door and get a heads-up the moment it runs late.

Share your live arrival with anyone New

• While you're tracking a train, tap Share live ETA to send a link to whoever's picking you up. They see your train's live position and arrival time — no app and no sign-in needed.
• The shared page updates in real time as your train moves, and the link expires on its own once the trip is over.

The Board now matches the real station board Improved

• At big terminals like New York Penn and Hoboken, the Board now shows the real destinations (Trenton, Long Branch, Dover…) with their track numbers — instead of generic "Secaucus" placeholders that never got live info.
• New Boarding status: a train that's at the platform with doors open now shows a green Boarding tag, just like the concourse signs — so you know when to hustle.
• The Board now mirrors NJ Transit's own live departures, so tracks, delays, and boarding stay in step with what you'd see on the station screens.

See when each train gets you there New

• Every train in your list now shows the time it's scheduled to arrive at your destination, right next to the stop name — so you can pick a train by when it lands, not just when it leaves.
• If a train is running late, the list shows the updated arrival time with the original crossed out, so you know exactly when to expect it.

See at a glance which trains have already arrived Improved

• Trains that have already reached your stop now say Arrived and fade back, instead of looking the same as ones that just pulled out — so a long evening list is easier to scan for the trains that still matter.
• A train that has left but is still on its way to you now shows a distinct blue Departed tag, keeping it clearly separate from a delayed train you can still catch.

Smoother on iPhone, cleaner lists Fixed

• Picking a station no longer zooms the screen in on iPhone — no more pinching back out to find your place.
• Cleaner departure lists: destinations read in normal case (Hoboken, not HOBOKEN), and the "Scheduled" tag is quieter so a real delay or your next train stands out.
• A few small tracking-screen tidy-ups.

See everything leaving a station New

• New Board view: pick a station and see every upcoming departure — all lines and destinations, with track and live delays — just like the big departure boards on the concourse.
• On the home screen, tap Board, choose a station (handy at busy hubs like Penn, Hoboken, Secaucus or Newark), then tap any train to start tracking it.
• Save a station's board to your favorites for one-tap access next time.

Late trains stay catchable in your list Fixed

• A train running late now stays front-and-center as an upcoming, catchable train — instead of greying out as "departed" the moment its scheduled time slips by.
• It only drops off the top of your list once it has actually left.

• RailDash now waits until a train is genuinely 2+ minutes behind before flagging it as delayed.

Plan ahead — check any day's schedule New

• Not traveling today? Tap Tomorrow, or pick any date up to about six months out, and see that day's full timetable.
• You can even arm a delay or cancellation alert ahead of time — it stays quiet, then wakes up on the day of your trip.

Get pinged the moment your track is posted New

• Turn on alerts for a train and RailDash will notify you the instant its departure track is posted — walk over early instead of sprinting when the crowd bolts.
• Joins the alerts you already get for delays, cancellations, and "your stop is coming up next" — even with the app closed.

Grab your ticket without leaving RailDash New

• A new Buy tickets link hands you off to the NJ Transit app to purchase — RailDash still can't sell tickets itself, but now the jump is one tap away.
